I'm finally on holiday break! This term was amazing but challenging, and I'm ready for a much-needed respite. Because I'm studying scientific nutrition, I find great interest in reading scientific studies and articles. As a result, they'll probably show up here on my monthly reading posts from time to time as literal food for thought.
Enjoy the links:
-Great tips for ways you can protect the environment while celebrating the holidays.
-So scary: Type 2 Diabetes cases surge in young adults.
-Does exercise slow the aging process?
-We're only on the crux of the research surrounding this, but it's becoming more and more evident how important paying attention to your gut's microbiome is to your overall health. This is a good read.
-The dichotomy of being rich and being able to exercise, vs. being poor and having to depend upon diet pills.

I'm planning on writing up a holiday-centric post, but for now, enjoy these gift guides. I have not even looked at Christmas presents, let alone written a list, but now that I'm out of school, I can't wait to immerse myself in everything-Christmas!
