Now, back to business: All right, I have to admit, I don't pay any attention to the Super Bowl, and in fact, I had to look it up to make sure it was actually happening this weekend so I wasn't writing an ill-timed post. But it IS happening, and I suppose, if I were to be interested at all, this would be the year to pay attention because the closest-in-proximity professional football team to Portland is participating in it! That being said, I have waaaay too much homework and plenty of other things on my mind to spend a day watching a game on television.
However, I realize that not everyone is like me, and one (or even more) of you out there might actually be hosting and/or preparing a really great party for Sunday, so I've made up a list of my favorite party-friendly snacks and dishes. I imagine that you are looking for easy munching, bite-sized dishes, especially ones that involve nothing more than a napkin, so I've put together not the healthiest list of foods, but certainly ones that fit the entertaining-in-front-of-a-screen prerequisite.
