Vegan Food Swap

My good internet friend (is that weird to say?) Meg from Snarky Chickpea and Vegan YA Nerds recently put together a vegan food swap. It was my first time participating in any sort of long-distance swap, and I had an absolute blast being a part of it. I got matched with Hillary, another internet friend of mine (ack, it does seem a little weird, I have to admit) from Twitter. I think Betsy the kitty enjoyed opening the package when it came, nearly as much as I did!

I sent Hillary seasonal items from my bakery and she sent me lovely items from her hometown of Chattanooga, TN. I've never been there, so it was fun to have a literal taste of the south arrive in a box. I received cute magnets, delicious apple butter, a spice mix, Christmas tea, sea salted chocolate (omg I love it so much!) and holiday cookie cutters. Another thanks goes to Hillary for somehow knowing me as well as she does to get me just the right items, and to Meg for generously hosting the swap.

I can't wait to do another vegan swap; this one was so much fun!
