Whew! I have only been to VegFest once before, and only as a patron, so this year was kind of crazy for a number of reasons. First of all, baking enough donuts to make 6,000 samples is a LOT of work. In fact, there were a few moments there when I really didn't think I could do it. I baked for three days straight, and I also baked the on the mornings and evenings of the two days of VegFest to make sure I had enough to serve the public.
However, it was well worth the effort. D and I smiled, spieled and schmoozed and served lots and lots and lots (and LOTS!) of donuts. We met some amazing folks, ate some great food, and enjoyed ourselves immensely. I look forward to going again next year.
