The Lan Su Chinese Garden
Every year at the beginning of January, the Lan Su Chinese Garden offers Portlanders eight free days of admission before the Chinese new year.
I went last week and enjoyed the beautiful garden. I especially appreciated the stark greys and bare trees that I saw, in addition to the juxtaposition between the beautiful, calming garden and the large skyscrapers found on the other side of the walls:
