Don't those pictures look amazing? I think they tell a better story than any words could. I visited Gracias Madre in San Francisco over the weekend and couldn't wait to write a review. This place is absolutely worth a stop. It's located on Mission Street and 18th, and it's very close to the BART line.
The best way to describe the food is that it's the kind of Mexican food you always want but never can find in a restaurant. It's wholesome, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. It doesn't taste particularly fatty, nor is it lacking in substance, and you can actually taste the quality of the ingredients.
