Last night I had the most unique opportunity. I paid to have dinner served to me by some of the most talented vegan chefs in Portland. They don't own a restaurant, and they aren't chefs by trade, but they made some of the best food I've ever tasted.
This was the second event for the
Heartichoke Supper Club, as it's called, and it featured a Spanish-inspired dinner with tapas, salad (with ingredients fresh from the Farmers' Market), soup, a main entree and dessert. Needless to say, by the end, I was stuffed. I basically waddled home after all the amazing food.
My pictures aren't the best (the lighting wasn't great, as it was set low to offer a nice dining atmosphere), but you can get the general idea of how awesome the food was.
