Fall Salad. Vegan and Gluten-free

After a day of work, mowing and weeding, and biking all over town, I was in the mood for a simple dinner tonight. I created this recipe out of the ingredients I had on hand, and I think it turned out pretty well, don't you?

Recipe:
5 large leaves of Romaine lettuce, ripped into smaller pieces
1/2 apple, diced
1/3 c. raw almonds, chopped
1/8 c. golden raisins
1 T. roasted sesame oil
salt to taste

Directions:
Assemble first three ingredients, then top with the last three.


A simple, yet delicious, filling and nutritious salad! Enjoy!
