Teese cheese

I tried some Teese cheese for the first time last night. I decided to make a home-made pizza (something I haven't enjoyed in a very long time) and thought that, since I had never tried it, Teese sounded like a fun experiment. According to its website and packaging, the mozzarella-style is perfect for pizza ("pizza fans rejoice!" is the exact marketing slogan). I made an easy pesto (combining about two cups of basil leaves, one cup raw cashews, two cloves garlic and 1/3 cup olive oil in a food processor until smooth) and stuck homegrown cherry tomatoes on top with slices of the "cheese".

It was...not bad or good, actually. I enjoyed the pesto quite a bit, and the cherry tomatoes were delicious, but the "cheese" itself had a funny texture. It was quite soft and fell apart easily, but the taste was relatively okay. However, after a while, I just removed the slices from the pizza and ate the rest of the pizza without it.
