I started off with some Lotte Berke Method this morning, instead of the usual pilates (you know, to throw things off a bit). It was fun, but certainly not as relaxing as the pilates has been. I felt energized in a different way, so I went about the house and performed much-needed chores, like changing my sheets, doing laundry, etc.
After that, I spent most of my day hanging out with my parents, and they provided me with the ingredients for this lovely lunch: sweet potatoes, yellow pepper, and tomato, sauteed and sprinkled with rosemary. Yum.
I’m relieved to say that I am feeling better every day. The initial weakness is gone, and I’m sure a large part of that is due to the fact that I am back to eating “warm” foods. We’ll see what Week 2 brings me, starting tomorrow.

I didn't know those few food items could look so good -- but they do 'cause you know how to make them look so appetizing! :-)
