Look, it's Me!
In other news, I made an awesome pesto last night that consisted of raw almonds (perhaps 1/2 cup), 2 cups packed fresh basil leaves, a bit of salt, 3 cloves of garlic, and about 1/3 cup olive oil. I processed it all in the food processor and voila! A delicious, nutty pesto was born. The best part was, I applied it onto my homemade pizza dough, and when it came out of the oven, some of the nuts were still intact and added a fabulous roasted almond crunch. I just about died and went to vegan heaven when I tasted it. It was THAT good. (My toppings were fresh tomatoes from the garden and sliced mushrooms.)
