I have been spending my day off perusing the world wide web and cooking/baking. It's been bliss. I'm set to go for a bike ride in a few minutes, and then I'll count the day as complete by going out back to weed and garden.
I came across some websites that were interesting to me, so you might be interested in them as well:
Cosmo's Vegan Shoppe: who knew this existed? I surely did not, and now I am excited to see all they offer. My favorite line of cosmetics (Alima, based out of Portland) is not on there, but I did notice that Isa Chandra Moskowitz's new brunch book is, so I was able to accept the compromise.
Wikipedia entry on Environmental Vegetarianism: I started being veg because it was so much less expensive to not buy meat at the store, and now I would definitely consider myself an environmental vegan. I believe that if a greater majority of people stopped eating so much doggone meat and dairy, our environment would greatly improve. Of course, it may not happen in my lifetime, but I believe I can hope, right?
Post Punk Kitchen's Preview of Isa's new brunch book (see above) with a delicious tofu scramble recipe. Yum. Yum. And some more Yum.
Yeah, That Vegan Sh*t: I was very entertained by this blog. Plus, anyone who is willing to make a public domain have a curse word in it is okay by me (I'm not gutsy enough!).
