In Love With Guacamole

I'm a guac junkie. Just ask my roommate, who makes the best guac that I've ever tasted; I buy avocados with the distinct intention of asking her to make me some yummy dip. She always complies, I guess to fuel my "horrible" addiction! Today, I noticed that my avocados were getting a bit too ripe, so I decided to try my hand at making some guac on my own. Let me tell you, it turned out pretty great! I mashed 1 1/2 ripe avocados in a bowl, then mixed in a quarter of a yellow (sweeter, but still raw) onion. I chopped up a garlic clove and stuck that all together and mixed. Then, I mixed in a half of a beefsteak tomato and added sprinkles of salt and pepper. Finally, I decided to stick a little canned corn in there for good measure, and since I was missing the green salsa that my roommate usually puts in her guac. Ta-da! My guacamole was complete, except for what to dip into it. I cut up some large flour tortillas that I had and broiled them until crisp, with a spritz of oil and salt and pepper for extra flavor. Yum. I can't wait for my lunch...
